Intakes & Academic Calendar

Swiss universities only offer a winter intake, starting in September and ending in February. The academic year is divided into two semesters, with exams in February and July. To maximize admission chances at leading public universities, start your application process as early as November or December of the previous year. Note that the Switzerland visa process can be lengthy, requiring up to 2–3 months.
