Intakes & Academic Calendar

Norwegian universities mainly offer winter intakes, beginning in October and ending in February. The academic year consists of two semesters, with exams held in February and July. Early application, ideally by November or December of the previous year, is recommended for top public university admissions due to limited seats.

  • Minimum 60% in Bachelor's degree
  • IELTS above 6 or TOEFL: 90-100 required for most public universities.
  • 15 years of education in English for applying for Master's degree is required
