Study in Norway
Norway, officially the Kingdom of Norway, is a stunning Nordic country located in Northern Europe. Its capital is Oslo, and Norwegian and Sami are the official languages. Norway shares borders with Finland and Russia in the northeast and maritime borders with Denmark, Iceland, the United Kingdom, Greenland, and the Faroe Islands.
Norway is one of the safest and most welcoming countries for international students, offering a balanced lifestyle between studies and leisure. The country’s breathtaking nature, including mountains, fjords, the Northern Lights, and whale watching, enriches the experience for students during study breaks.
Intakes & Academic Calendar
Norwegian universities mainly offer winter intakes, beginning in October and ending in February. The academic year consists of two semesters, with exams held in February and July. Early application, ideally by November or December of the previous year, is recommended for top public university admissions due to limited seats.
