Study in Lithuania
Lithuania, officially known as the Republic of Lithuania, is one of the three Baltic states located in northern Europe. Its capital is Vilnius, and Lithuanian is the most widely spoken language. Lithuania is bordered by Latvia, Belarus, Poland, and Russia.
As one of the safest study destinations for international students, Lithuania offers quality education at a lower cost than most other European countries. The country is highly recognized for its excellent programs in management, medicine, finance, and engineering.
Intakes & Academic Calendar
Lithuanian universities generally have winter intakes starting in September and ending in June. Each semester lasts for around 20 weeks, followed by exams. To increase the chance of admission to top universities, it’s best to begin your application process by November or December of the previous year, as seats are limited.
