Study in the Netherlands

Intakes & Academic Calendar

Dutch universities primarily offer winter intakes from October to February, with some institutions also providing summer intakes from April to July. The academic year is divided into two semesters, with exams taking place in February and July. To maximize your chances of securing a seat, start your application as early as November or December of the previous year. Please note, the Netherlands’ visa process can take 2-3 months.

  • Minimum 60% in Bachelor's degree
  • IELTS above 6 or TOEFL: 90-100 required for most public universities.
  • 15 years of education in English for applying for Master's degree is required
